If you’re not using Tinder (or other social apps) to meet women, you’re really missing out. There’s potentially thousands of amazing women just waiting for you at the push of a button!
One of the main reasons guys tell me they don’t use it is because of all the competition. They seem to think women on Tinder are flooded with messages from smooth-talking charmers who have the body of Adonis and the bank balance of Elon Musk.
Now as a woman who has used Tinder, I can tell you this is far from the truth.
But rather than just tell you, I wanted to show you.
So I conducted a little experiment with the help of Wing Girl Nicki to give you a glimpse of what women get subjected to on Tinder and sample messages that will catch a woman's attention.
The video below will show you screenshots from actual Tinder exchanges that Nicki had (posing as me) with guys who messaged her.
We then break everything down so you can see exactly what was good, and what was terrible!

I wanted to give a little written follow up to the advice and comments that Nicki and I made in this video.
Below are some of my top tips to help you turn those matches into dates.

Be a man, not a boy
Unless you’re in Tinder’s 13-17 age bracket (I can’t believe that’s actually a thing!) then the women you’ll be matching with are looking for men, not boys.
This applies to everything you do, but one of the big ones is how you write.
Do your messages sound like they were written by a self-assured adult male?
Meaning you use proper words and not a bastardized form of the English language that makes you sound like a Kardashian sister…
Bcoz OMG that would be like totes awk LOL (if any of your messages resemble this, you deserve a spanking… and not the good kind).
Own your sexuality
This also ties into the last point about being a man and not a boy.
A man can talk about sex without being all awkward and embarrassed by it.
That means if you are going to be sexual on Tinder, then own it!
Don’t make excuses for it or try to laugh it off… this just shows you’re lacking confidence.
The more comfortable you are with your sexuality, the more comfortable we’ll feel being sexual with you.
Don’t be cheesy
If you copy and paste the same cheesy pick-up line to every woman, we’re gonna know!
That’s not to say that a cheesy line can’t be funny if used ironically, but if you’re serious and using it as a crutch, it’s not attractive.
We get tons of guys sending us lame and cheesy lines all the time, so if that’s the first thing we see from you it just gets you lumped in with everyone else.
Instead, try being genuine and showing us YOUR OWN personality and you’ll make a unique impression on us.
Treat us like a real person
We’re not just some object on the other side of your phone screen that exists to make you happy.
If your messages imply you expect us to meet you right away or come over for ‘Netflix and chill’…
It shows that you don’t really respect or value us as an actual person with thoughts and feelings of our own.
Here’s a crazy idea:
Try engaging us in a conversation and talking to us like a fellow human being!
Don’t be needy
There’s nothing we find less attractive than a needy man.
As women, WE’RE supposed to be the emotional ones, not you!
And when you act needy, you’re showing you’re not in control of your own emotions…
You need us to act or respond in a certain way for you to feel okay.
UGGHH!!! (That’s the sound of me dry heaving.)
One of the most common ways guys do this on Tinder is by bombarding us with messages.
If we open up our phone and see multiple texts from you, it sets off a massive warning alarm in our minds.
So once you’ve sent a message, just relax and give us a chance to text you back.

If you’re doing what at least 90% of guys do, then you’re pretty much wasting your time on there…
Most women (especially the quality ones) are going to simply ignore or delete your messages.
But when you make a few simple adjustments and put my advice into action, you’ll become the man she can’t stop thinking about!
