Thanks to certain pickup artists who shall remain unnamed (*cough cough*) a lot of men seem to have the idea that being a mystery is the way into a woman’s heart… or at the very least, her pants.
However, we women won’t be giving you access to either if you apply this technique the way 90% of guys do.
Here’s the thing though:
They think what they’re doing is making them more attractive in our eyes, when actually the opposite is happening.
So to make sure you’re not falling into this trap, you need to check out the video I made for you below.
By watching that, hopefully you realize that a little bit of mystery can be attractive when used the right way.
The same way that a little bit of teasing can work wonders.
What you need to remember is these are things you use to spice up the conversation, NOT as a substitute for the conversation itself.
Otherwise you’re like a waiter bringing us an empty plate then asking us if we’d like salt and pepper on top.
What we really want is something we can sink our teeth into!!
And every time we ask you a question and you avoid it, you’re making it that much tougher to develop a real conversation.
It feels to us like you’re shutting down our attempts to connect with you.
And it doesn’t take us long to figure out that this isn’t progressing anywhere, and we’re just wasting our breath by talking to you.
Here’s an example I saw once from a guy who clearly didn’t get this concept.
Girl: So, what do you do?
Guy: I’m an ass model.
Girl: Haha no really, what do you do?
Guy: I told you, I’m an ass model.
Girl: Are you going to tell me what you really do?
Guy: What are you saying, that you don’t think I’ve got a great ass?
Girl: (muttering to herself as she walks away) What a douchebag.
Now I’m sure that guy actually believed he was being playfully mysterious.
And he probably thought that girl was being a bitch for walking away from him.
But that’s because he’s not able to understand this from a woman’s point of view.
She was trying to get to know him and find some common ground they could connect on.
By rejecting her attempts to do so, it shows that he’s not comfortable showing her his real self.
Instead, he has to hide behind some phony persona and play these silly games. Ultimately, it just comes off as a mixture of insecurity and immaturity.
And women obviously don’t want men like this!
