I wanted to tell you that story about my friend joining the mile high club (having sex on a plane just in case you didn't know). Read on….
Over the weekend, I got together with a few girlfriends I hadn't seen in a very long time.
One of the girls had literally just gotten off of a 10+ hour flight from Korea. You would think she would have been exhausted but she wasn't…. She was very awake and excited to tell us about her flight.
I sat down and she immediately said to me “Marni, I have a great story for you but this story needs to be told over a drink”.
Obviously this got me excited and I quickly found our waiter and placed an order for 2 yummy passion fruit margarita's!!!!! 
Drinks in hand, she's now ready to tell me her story:
“So I'm sitting in the Delta members lounge, looking all scruffy and this guy comes up to me and starts talking.
I'm half out of it, so I'm not that into the conversation, plus, I felt so yucky and unattractive.
Anyway… we had a few exchanges and then he said he had to go catch his flight. I didn't really think anything of it because he didn't seem interested and why would he be considering how I looked.
I got on my flight, business class which was awesome… AND guess who's sitting right next to me in his own pod?? Mr. Members Lounge. I'm calling him that because I actually don't know his name.
We start talking and I'm thinking to myself, this guy is kind of cute. Not good looking, but there is something about him.
About 20 minutes into the conversation the whole plane seems to be looking at us. I guess we were kind of loud. So he gets up from his chair and comes into my pod and sits on that little stool thing at the end of my seat.
We literally talked for almost 2 hours and things got a little quite and he started looking at me with this big sneaky smile on his face.
That obviously made me really nervous and I got uncomfortable but I knew what was coming so I held it together.
He leaned in and kissed me for about 30 seconds. Soft kiss with just a little tongue and his hand on the side of my face. He pulled away and said “I've wanted to do that since I saw you in the lounge.” Then he signaled over to the bathroom, got up and took my hand.
You know me and that's totally not me to follow this guy I barely knew into the bathroom but I did and we did and it was awesome. A little uncomfortable cause the bathroom was really small but it was awesome.
I can't believe I did it and now he is in LA for a couple of days and I want to see him again. If anything for a little repeat from the airplane. Ahhhh!!!!!!! Crazy right?? And I still don't know his first name!!!!”
I was shocked. This was not like my friend but I was really excited for her and full of questions. The main one being, what was it about this guy that made you want to do that?
To which she said:
“To be honest, I have no idea but there was just something about him. He just seemed so comfortable in his skin and it made me want to do whatever he asked me to do. Ha. He wasn't that hot but he was self deprecating in a really confident way.
The thing I liked the most is that when we spoke he really listened to what I had to say and always had something interesting to add to it. That made me feel comfortable and close to him. I felt like I had known him forever. OMG it's so crazy.”
The point of me sharing this story with you is #1 to show that opportunities are EVERYWHERE around you and that there are no limitations on who and when you can approach and meet women. Opportunities are all around. You just have to lift your head up, open your mouth and see what happens.

#2 encourage you to start taking more flights and trips!!! I want you in the mile high club before 2015 is over 🙂
