Happy 2019!!!! I hope you got a chance to listen to this weeks episode of Ask Women because on the show we have an amazing listener AJ who shares how he has transformed himself with women by doing 1 thing…. creating boundaries with women.
If you haven't listened you can go here to listen.
BUT if you have and you are on this page then it means you want to see AJ's list of boundaries. I've pasted them below as well as his guidelines on how to get out of a rut and distract yourself. Really good stuff!! Enjoy 🙂
Boundaries:
It is not my job to fix others.
It is okay if others get angry.
It is okay to say no.
It is not my job to take responsibility for others.
I don’t have to anticipate the needs of others.
It is my job to make me happy.
I am enough.
I do not need to settle for less than what I want in a relationship.
How somebody feels about me doesn’t define me and doesn’t affect who I am.
How To Get Out Of A Rut
Put a daily schedule together that can help you reach your goals. Use Google Calendar or any other app with reminders and set up daily times to:
Do 50 pushups, burpees and crunches in the morning before you shower
Learn a new language. Try Babbel.com and set up an account
Learn a new instrument or master something that you already play. PaulieZ has a great program for Rock Guitar Mastery
Go to Guitar center and plug an electric guitar into a vintage amp and mess around. Even if you don’t know how to play, just messing with the strings while plugged into an amp will produce amazing sounds.
Find a barber in your area that does a straight razor shave and make an appointment
Go over your bedroom or living space and make a list of things you want to improve or change. Make a plan to achieve these improvements.
Clean and vacuum your car. Figure out how to keep your car clean – this spoils me every morning getting into a car that feels bran-new.
Meditate – get yourself grounded and practice mindfulness. – Headspace has an app that will guide you and it takes either 5 or 10 minutes every day
Go to a running store and get a great pair of running shoes and bluetooth headphones. Make a playlist of great songs to run to and set up a time to run a few miles every other day.
DIY projects for under $100- Make a Rasberry PI computer the size of a credit card. Make a steel guitar out of a skateboard deck. There are a lot of resources online
Dream hobby- write a book, write a song, paint, figure out how to get back to school, look into flying classes
